Hello rock-pandas!

Today we have some VERY exciting news for you!

Remember the phone call that I got last weekend from a famous panda? Well, Eva Toms has sent me a text message saying that she has organised her solo concert for this weekend! It will be a performance of her new song which she has written all by herself. It is dedicated to Momo…

When we met with Momo earlier in the week…. It was not a pretty sight! He is really in a bad way! I have never seen a pop star so sad!   He was really pale, thin and had dark circles under his eyes. He has been missing Eva so much since she decided to break up with him.

It was heartbreaking to see him in such a way. We tried to comfort him but he preferred to be left alone. So we told him about Eva’s concert…. We hope he goes to see it.

Maybe if he goes the the concert and Eva sees how sad he is, they might get back together! Then the “Smashing Pancakes” will reunite!

Anyway, anything could happen so make sure you check out her concert (which will be in the Castle ballroom) this weekend.

We can’t wait to hear her song!

Where were the fireworks last weekend? Yes, we missed them too and we were waiting around and nothing happened. So we went to investigate….

Apparently the gun powder mixture that Prof. Bookworm has created for the fireworks was tampered with. Prof. Bookworm left his lab at about 6:30pm on Saturday (he needed to be home in time to watch his favourite TV show “Mathematical Minds”).

He said he didn’t see anything suspicious before he left but being the absent-minded professor that he is, he forgot to lock the door of his lab before he left.

And we figured out what must have happened…. We think Basepef transformed himself into a cat (like those sacred cats from Ancient Egypt) and he went into the laboratory and tipped over the gun powder solution so that it was ruined. That’s why the fireworks didn’t go off as planned.

In the morning, Prof. Bookworm saw cat prints in the powder which was lying all over the floor!

But don’t worry, he fixed the solution and guess what? Now there will be fireworks every FRIDAY, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY – twice a day!! So, if you’re Gold Panda, you’ll enjoy!

(Prof. Bookworm has promised to lock his laboratory door from now on!)

So, Basepef can forget about trying to ruin all fun and joy in Panfu. He won’t defeat us!

Hello Scary Pandas!

If you live in the northern hemisphere then your days will be getting shorter and the nights longer. If you live in the southern hemispere, then your days will be getting longer and warmer.

But we all can’t forget Halloween which is coming up this Friday!

And of course we will be celebrating it in pure panda style here in Panfu! The huge Halloween party somewhere in Panfu – maybe the picture will give you a clue where…

So get your costumes ready and bring your scariest face to the biggest, ghoulish party of the year!

We’ll be there (though you might not recognise us in our scary costumes!)

Hi Pandas,

The new Panda Levels are so much better than the old ones. Since we all start at zero there’s a chance for everyone! If you already had panda points from the old system, you now get a surprise  in exchange for them!

I’m already at level 29 on my player card. I never would have got so high on the old system! And each level has something new which also wasn’t on the old system. It’s not as hard as I thought!

Oh and before we forget, we had a quiz last week and here are the solutions (in green):

Panfu will celebrate it’s 1st birthday on 1st of December 2008. Wait for it, there will be lots of cool things happening to celebrate! We can’t wait!

No game called “Roadrunner” in Panfu. But there are “Makeover” and “Globy” which are so fun!

Another thing… We can see that a lot of you enjoy having Robby the Robot around. What we want to know is what kind of things would you like him to be able to do so he’s even more fun company. Please write them here in the blog comments.

Oh, and this Saturday you can use the chat function in Panfu until 10pm! What a great reason to stay up late!

They’ve  finally arrived: New PANDA LEVELS!

“Huh?” we hear some of you say. We’ll explain. It’s all to make Panfu even more fun!

Your Panda-Level shows you, how much experience you’ve collected on Panfu. Depending on how many times you’ve played in Panfu, and how good you are at the games and quests. 

But we already have “Panda Numbers”, we hear some of you say. That’s true but Panda Levels are better because the more you play, the higher your level will become. With each new level you will gain special skills and exclusive access to cool things in Panfu. Each level has a different name and gets more and more exciting the higher you get. For example, in some levels you can shoot your own fireworks, in another your panda can dance!

So, starting this Friday, all pandas will begin at zero This means you all have a clear slate to challenge yourselves and reach the highest level.

It gets even better, every panda that reaches Level 5 will be a GOLD PANDA for the entire level!

How cool is that!?
