We heard a rumour that there is new stuff being created for the tree-house catalogue to celebrate the arrival of Robby the robot! And as always, we have a sneak preview for you:

 How cool does that stuff look! The new “Robot-Edition Collection” will be nothing like you’ve seen!

Is that a Bolly-shaped bath? Is that a self-working vacuum cleaner?

We have no idea exactly what will be on offer but keep your eyes peeled and check out the furniture catalogue which you’ll find in your very own tree-house.

Hello Pandas,

Did you have a good weekend? We’re sure you did with all the cool stuff happening in Panfu at the moment!

The Smashing Pancakes final concert, the Saturday night fireworks, the arrival of Robby the robot and pandas being turned into mummies!

It’s times like these that you need best friends. To share experiences with, to laugh and cry and to support in times of need.

We are best friends and have been since the first grade.

Max stuck up for me in class one day when some bullies were teasing me.

Yeah, I told them that if they had a problem with Ella they had a problem with me!

I was so grateful… (and you showed my how much by giving me a big sloppy kiss on the cheek!)

….. And we’ve been best friends ever since!

But here are some specific reasons why we’re best friends:

Ella: Max is my best friend because he’s funny and full of life. When ever he’s around I’m always in a good mood. He can make me laugh even when I’m feeling sad. Max also has a mischievous side and is always up for tricks and an adventure. I never feel afraid when Max is by my side because he’s brave and I know he will  always look after me.

Max: Ella is my best friend because she’s smart and always knows the solution to a problem. She’s fun to be around and loves adventures like I do. Although I tease her about being annoying, I wouldn’t know what I would do if she wasn’t my best friend.

Hey Pandas!

Have you seen the concert from “Smashing Pancakes”? It was AWESOME!

The news of their break up has really bugged us and Max and I have just got to find out the truth behind their break up.

So I’ve called drummer and singer Eva Toms from the band and begged her to give us an interview.

After several phone-calls, emails and text messages, she finally agreed! Here’s the exclusive interview:

Ella: Eva, thank you so much for your time! 

Eva: No problem, but I’m sorry I don’t have much time. I understand that a lot of fans may have questions so I’m happy to take this interview

Max: That’s really nice of you, Eva! What the fans are naturally interested in is: Are the Smashing Pancakes splitting up forever? 

Eva: Yes, but you already knew that from Momo! I have had enough and I can’t stay in the band anymore. I don’t feel there is enough room for me to move artistically. So I’ve decided to leave the band. It’s been really hard to perform the farewell concert with all the tension between Momo and myself. We have been working together for the last 2 years constantly whilst being a romantically connected couple. Sometimes it just gets too much!

Ella: And you and Momo, have broken up? 

Eva: Yes, as sad as it is, we have split, mainly because Momo needs to always be in the limelight and dominate! I still have feelings for him and value him as a friend but we don’t see eye to eye on certain things. But please, don’t ask me anymore personal questions.

Max: OK, sorry we understand. We only ask because the fans want to know! 

Ella: What we still need to know is: Will the four of you remain in contact? Or will you all go your separate ways and perhaps have a career change? 

Eva: We are four thoroughbred musicians. I don’t believe that one of us is suddenly going to go off and begin a career in tax advisory or something! Music is our life! But we need a break and every one of us will be going it alone. 

Max: And what will you do now, Eva? 

Eva: I’m going to take some time out and go out of town. I’m going to New York City to visit a girl friend of mine and perhaps explore my own music as a solo artist. Also, I think some shopping will be good therapy for me!

Max: Eva, we’re very sad to see you go and wish you all the best.

Eva: Thank you, and greetings to our many fans! You guys are so great!

Hi Pandas!

Do you notice something different today on your Panfu screen? 

I had to rub my eyes this morning when I first logged on because I thought I was seeing things!

Well, you’re not imagining it….

Robby, you personal helper robot is here!

The Panfu headquarters received so many name suggestions for the robot and the Panfu team have finally chosen “Robby”. It’s simple to remember and sounds friendly!

You’ll see him moving around on the bottom left of your Panfu screen. He will randomly give you tips on what you can see and do in Panfu and also keep you up to date with the latest developments. How? His metal head is directly connected by transmission waves to the Panfu headquarters. That means he knows things before us!

To learn more from him, simply click on the green button in his speech ballon. If you don’t want to hear anymore, simply click the red button. And if you want Robby to go away all together, you can click on the “Off” button. But don’t worry, he’s never gone for good he’s just asleep. If you feel lonely and want Robby back, simply click “On” and he’ll wake up.

He’s very sweet and cute and we’re happy to welcome him to Panfu!

Have you read the blog with the exclusive interview of Momo the lead singer from Smashing Pancakes?

Well, then you’d know that they are breaking up. But before they go their separate ways, they are treating their loyal pandas fans to a final farewell concert.

It’s this Saturday (18th Oct) and Sunday (19th Oct)!!!

No specific time has been announced so just get there early. Officials are expecting hugs crowds so the concert will be staged on the Panfu sports field. Get there early to get a good spot and bring all your friends!

See you there tomorrow! Rock on!!

Watch as the sun sets over the volcano then witness the darkness over Panfu. Then…. it begins! The most amazing firework display! Be there from 6:30pm GMT so you don’t miss out.

The lights and colours will dazzle you and it will be soooooo romantic!!!
