Hey Pandas,

Today we have good news and… more good news!

Perhaps some of you have been wondering about the coloured bar at the bottom of your screen. (The one that goes from a sad smiley to a happy smiley).

Well, we’re proud to announce the new Panfu Mood Indicator! Now you can tell the mood of your panda! How cool is that?

The more fun things you do in Panfu and the more your explore, the better the mood of your panda will be. You might think it doesn’t matter what mood your panda is in but because Panfu is usually a happy place, it is very important to feel happy and be in a good mood. Some places in Panfu may not be accessible if your mood is too bad!

So how do you make your mood stay good and up in the green area of the coloured bar? Well, you simply have to have fun and do fun and interesting things in Panfu.

We won’t tell you what these activities are, you have to figure then out for yourself!

Aww, Max, come on, let’s at least give them a hint….

Yes ok… here’s a tip of things you can do in Panfu that will keep your mood up:

Play games, take a shower in the pool area, have something to eat….

But of course, you can’t just do these things to keep your mood up. You have to use your imagination and be active and do other things too in the wonderful world of Panfu.

And now for the second bit of good news…

From today, you have the opportunity to invite new friends to come play with you in Panfu. And now you can do this directly from within the game. Simply click on the  ”Invite” button which is next to the “Throw” button.

It gets even better…. Every time a new friend of yours joins Panfu, YOU’LL get a surprise gift! Try it out!

And news just in…

Basepef has disappeared! It looks like Carl Caruso’s plan has worked….

Oooooh, I LOVE him so much! He’s so clever AND handsome!

I personally think he’s a little on the arrogant side.

Oh, Max, are you jealous!?  Anyway Pandas, it’s thanks to ALL of you for your help in collecting the bananas and pickles to set the trap!

Caruso couldn’t have done it on his own, that’s for sure!

Hello helpful pandas,

As we have heard recently from the Bamboo Gazette, Carl Caruso has come up with a plan to get rid of Basepef once and for all! But he needs YOUR help!

We need all the bananas and pickles that you can find around the island. We need them all to be collected and brought to Carl Caruso who stands ready on the Castle terrace. There, he and Kamaria are brewing a special magical potion which will entice the evil sorcerer Basepef and hopefully lure him into a trap! 

So pandas, please collect as many as you can. Let’s work together to get rid of this evil power who has been terrorizing Panfu for weeks!

Hey Pandas,

Did you get your pair of skis from the Advents Calendar yet? If so, make sure you put them on and get yourself to the Sports field. There you can ski! It’s so much fun! It’s like gliding on ice!

Who is the fastest pandas on skis? It’s certainly not Max! He fell flat on his butt this morning when we went skiing! Gosh! It was the funniest thing I’d seen in ages!

Oi! Ella, that’s not fair, you totally pushed me and then I couldn’t get up ‘cos it was so slippery!

Anyway, it’s a lot of fun and the best thing to do when there’s so much snow in Panfu!

Hello Pandas!

Since we are investigative journalists we were snooping outside Kamaria’s chamber trying to listen in on a conversation between Carl Caruso and the oracle herself. (We didn’t dare go in ‘cos Kamaria is still mad at me for throwing water bombs at her and I’m a little tired of being electrocuted by her!)

Anyway, we couldn’t hear everything but we heard them discussing some sort of plan. We think it has something to do with Basepef and getting rid of him. We heard words like “trap” and “bananas”! We don’t know what bananas have to do with traps but it sure sounded interesting!

We were nearly caught snooping becase Ella suddenly had to sneeze (and she always sneezes so loud like an elephant!)

Oi! Max, no I don’t!  Anyway, I covered my nose and sneezed rather quietly and daintily, thank you very much. In fact, if Kamaria and Carl Caruso heard anything, they probably thought it was a little kitten passing by!

So, pandas, don’t tell Kamaria that we were spying! The plan sounds like it’s meant to be top secret! We’ll try to find out more information and report back to you. 

Keep your ears stiff and your eyes peeled!

Hey guys! 

It has finally snowed! Doesn’t it look beautiful! The whole of Panfu island is covered. Even the water along the shore is half frozen!

Make sure you keep rugged up so you don’t catch a cold. I can’t believe how heavy it fell overnight! I can’t wait to beat Max again at a snowball fight!

Did you know that every snow flake has an individual design… so each one is different! Snow is a type of precipitation in the form of crystalline water ice, made up of a lot of snowflakes that fall from clouds.

Also, don’t forget to check out the huge Christmas tree and the Advent calendar in the castle ballroom!

There are great gifts to find! Today, I got a Yeti fur to go with my Yeti mask which I received yesterday!

Hi Pandas!

We were just at the Panfu headquarters and we have fabulous news for you!

Tomorrow is Mini-Gold-Panda-Day! What does that mean?

Well, tomorrow every panda who isn’t normally a gold panda will get to have a taste of what it’s like to have the Panfu Gold Package. This means that most of the features available for gold pandas will be open to ALL pandas! But only for tomorrow: Tuesday, 9th December 2008.

So get playing in Panfu tomorrow and you’ll be able to visit the new horse stables and play the cool new game there or get to see the fantastic fireworks display at the volcano! Even the under-water school will be open for all pandas!

But it’s only for tomorrow! Tell you friends and see you in Panfu!!!

Hi pandas!

As you know, the Panfu team, are always trying to keep the chat function very safe, free from bullying, bad language and so on. They have moderators working very hard to help us do that but they also need your help.

If you see a panda using bad language or misbehaving please report them to the moderators. You can do that by clicking on the little whistle on their Player Card. A moderator will then get the message and have a closer look at that panda.

Please keep in mind that the panda will not be blocked if he or she did not break the Panfu rules. So only report pandas that really go against the rules of Panfu.

Next to the whistle symbol there is a red face symbol, use that button to ignore that user, this means that the user will disappear from your game and they won’t be able to bother you.
