How’s it going? Are you almost done with school yet? For us it’s just one more day until we get to kick back and enjoy our summer. Great, eh?

Max, I’m sure there are Pandas out there that would rather go to school. What do you say, Pandas?

Fine, tell me, which of you would choose to go to school every day of the week? Saturdays and Sundays included? Not my thing…

Okay, you made your point. Now for some real news. Yesterday we went to go play on the monster water slide once again. We just can’t get enough of it!

I was able to blow up my swimming tube just right this time.

We saw our buddy Penny there. Do you know her? We don’t get to see her around too often because she’s in the library reading most of the time.

Yeah, she comes from a funny place…what’s the name…?

Palifornia! They speak surfer-slang there. It sounds pretty funny. In any case, we had a good time playing at the new water slide. Penny was having a great time, that is, until I asked her whether she had a boyfriend. She became quiet and I thought I saw her eyes tearing up a bit. I asked her what was wrong. Penny was quiet for a moment, then responded: “There once was a guy I was going around with named Lenny. It was a while ago and he wasn’t really my boyfriend I guess, but I was head-over-heels in love with him. But like I said, that was a while ago.”

She became so sad that I didn’t want to ask her any more questions! But I’m a rather curious Panda, so I plan to ask her a couple more questions tomorrow.

Ella, if she doesn’t want to talk about it, don’t make her. But that’s not to say I’m not curious too. Be sure to post Penny’s sad story for all to see as soon as you find out!
