Ella and Max in Mexico – Part 2
Wednesday, August 26th, 2009Hey Pandas!
Wow, we had quite the day yesterday. I don’t think I have ever sweat or or shook that much!
I was totally relaxed and cool. As always.
Ha, you wish! I saw for myself the little beads of sweat pooling up all over your face.
Maybe just a little…
I’ll go back a bit and tell you Pandas what we’re talking about. So yesterday we decided to make the journey to this much-feared address. The bus went straight into the heart of a dark and loud jungle. The monkeys were screaming, as if they wanted to warn us about something. The sun was burning hot and kept the jungle humid and warm. We made our ways bravely through the jungle thicket until we saw a clearing in the distance. Then, we saw one of the most amazing things: giant pyramids! They were so big that we could hardly see their tops. We knew that one of the pyramids was surely the Pyramid of Horror and it didn’t take too long to figure out which: the one with the skull chiseled into the stone. This is the one we had to enter.
Ella wanted to make a retreat, but I convinced her that we had to do what we had to do. That is, give this letter to the mysterious man’s daughter. But why would she live in such a creepy place? What do you Pandas think?
Max, my phone’s ringing. It’s Kamaria.
Oh, I have to talk to her! We’ll tell you the rest of the story on Friday!
Be good Pandas,
Max and Ella
