Back to school for fun not bullying
Dear Pandas:
Time flies by and I am sure you have noticed that you are approaching the end of your summer holiday. As you start packing for school, are you excited to be heading back? Are you looking forward to hanging out with friends and engaging in some interesting learning in school? Back to school is a joyous time and I hope you are getting ready for it. Unfortunately, there are some children who do not enjoy the beginning of the new school year! And it’s not because they do not like to learn but rather there is something they have to face in their school that keeps them afraid of it. It is about violence in school and I’m not talking just about physical violence, but also psychological violence!
Have you ever been the subject of ridicule where people give you nicknames that you do not like? Or does everyone try to push you out of the way when you walk by the hallways? Or worse, you have nowhere to sit during lunch and no one to play with in the playground. We wish schools were a happy and friendly place like Panfu, but unfortunately mean things can happen sometimes in schools. It is sadly becoming quite common to pick on people that look a little different or come from a different place. Or sometimes you just get picked on for no apparent reason! But do not feel like you are alone or that there is no way out of it. Do you know that even famous people like Miley Cyrus went through bullying in school? You can read about how she copes with it and now she is an international superstar!
Now, I want to give some practical advice about what to do when you feel like you are being bullied. First thing to remember is do not be afraid to talk about this problem with your parents, teacher or friends. Also, you can learn to stand up for yourself and be brave. Understand that it is okay to be different and that you are a cool person no matter what others say or do. Look to those for help that show kindness and find comfort in them. There are so many ways to fight against bullying and I would love to hear how you have dealt with it since I know you are all very brave and smart.
If you are reading this and have been the person that was mean to someone, think again before you do it. What you think might just be a silly joke can hurt someone’s feeling very deeply. There are sad cases where kids simply cannot take the bullying anymore and stopped going to school. It saddens me very much when I think about little pandas not able to learn in school because of other kids’ mean behaviors.
Even if you are not the person that is being mean but you have seen others doing it, please try to help the person that is being bullied. A little helping hand or a few kind words can really go a long way. It shows great character on your part as it means you are a person of great compassion. So Pass it On!
I want you to all remember that we are all equally valuable: it does not matter whether you are fat or thin, rich or poor, with glasses, speak with an accent, dress differently or have braces………. Do not forget that the world is so wonderful because it is rich in diversity! The diversity is what makes each of us unique and one of a kind. We all have some hidden talents, small or large and the best talent of all is a kind heart.

You know what I dont get is, your putting up this blog telling people to “Treat others like you would like to be treated” and “dont bully” and you dont even realise the amount of bulling, not in school but on Panfu!!!!! I have been called names and picked on more than I ever have in school so why dont you tell kids to “Stop bulling on PANFU!” I suggest you get more moderators and try to to stop and prevent bulling on PANFU!!!!!!!!!!!!! And if any of you pandas out there believe me post a comment and lets get rid of bulling on Panfu!!

i am getting bullied and i am losing my friend because the girl that is bullying me tells her untrue stuff about me! i try to stand up but then i get in trouble by the teacher for upsetting her! its really not fair and the only reason i go to school for is to be with my other best friend and to learn but at breaks when the girl thats bullying me is around aren’t that fun at all

i am getting bullied by this girl called niamh at school. i am losing one of my best friends over her because he tells lies about me to her…:(
she also leaves me out of games all the time and when i try to tell the teacher she doesnt listen
a while back when she was being extremely mean to me and i told the teacher and she started crying. then i was the one who got in trouble for upsetting her ! mt only reason to go to school now is to learn and be with my only best friend…i really dont like it but when i try to tell the teacher she dosent listen! even when my mom went in the teacher didnt do anything…it makes me really upset sometimes and i cry…:(

Stylekitten and bubbles I am sorry to hear that some of you were bullied on Panfu. This should never have happened! I just wanted to share something positive though. I know it is hard to be picked on but one of my best friend, he has this great attitude about people who were mean to him. He treat them with care in return. One time this boy from after school program was always calling him bad names and doing other mean things, but when he learned that the boy was desperate for some idea about a birthday gift to a friend, he offered his brilliant idea and the two became good friends
I know it doesn’t always turn out to be this way, but I just wanted to share. Anyway, I think the golden rule is very true and I hope everyone will take it to heart.

Me and my friend are being bullied by a person in my class she is very mean to me she said when i was in a club on the weekend that me and my friend (Hollybob3) were calling her bad names when we never do anything like that and the club owner phoned her mum up then her mum text my mum and said that she phoned and the bully was very upset because i was saying bad names to her! By the way i dont even talk to the bully anymore i didnt talk to her anyway!
P.S my best friend keeps lying about other friends because she says something nasty and i tell my friends and she says youre a big lier. Also she said i slaped her baby sister when i went to her house when i didnt.

I have just joined but I don’t understand why I get a warning in Panfu from modulator for breaking the rule, I didn’t bully, didn’t give personal information… I am new, but is it possible to give a warning with the specific reason? I feel so innocent to be warned and I was trying to help someone on the beach…

Hi there is a mean girl in my class and she went around saying that i had pushed her!!!!! And she said that my friend had KICKED her.I didnt get in trouble though because i ALWAYS try to be good at scool!!! But im a bit worried about this year!! Once somebody in my class called Hope said she would kill Patrick (we call him Paddy because he likes it) but he just went out bursting with laughter then he told me I did too and come to think of it, we were laughing because Paddy got threatened!!!!! Now that’s what I call bad! (Hope keeps saying she does karate and isn’t a fan of boys(I knew that anyway without being told))

You really are NOT alone, my best friends start hating me just for saying something they don’t agree with.
They stay like that for weeks and forget what they are upset about but are mean anyway. >:¬( I think people like them are giving me problems, like stress and depression or something. I have a terrible case of bullying, the two main bullies stole my glove and filled it with snow, and I am not sure anyone has done that to you. Plus I have to sit next to two bullies in design now, one either side of me.>:¬(!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YO PEOPLE WITH BULLYING PROBLEMS READ THIS!!!
what some of you may or may not know is that bullies should be pitied not hated.why? Well bullies are just upset tortured kids on the inside probably cause they are abused by parents or have a lot of stress and take it out on other people. here is the solution:give them a mirror and tell them to look at their reflection and ask if they like what they see.Another solution is just to ignore them.Once someone on panfu came up to me and said mean things for no reason!I didnt even know him! So instead of fighting back i sat back,relaxed and watch him make a fool of himself!
After a couple minutes he went away!

sometimes I feel that being nice is pointless because some people don’t do the same back.

I get bullied because i’m going through a puppy fat stage. I usually say something snappy but harmless. Though lately me and my sister were practicing judo in the playground and well these boys were like calling us um well you know what and I ran off crying! then my friend came and found me and someone told the teacher. She didnt handle it though, nothing serious ever gets handled properly.
