A crispy breakfast

Saturday, August 28th, 2010

Hi there, Pandas!

Yesterday Ella had something extra crispy for breakfast. Do you want to know what? Well, after the stressful week with Krucio we had an idea to have a really nice breakfast at Chez Bruno before we’d even think about Krucio, the puzzle machine, or the stony object of the day. We even left the special glasses at home, hehe.

I ordered a fried egg because Bruno is world famous  for making them well. I cut myself a big piece of it, took a bite and enjoyed the taste. But something was different. It was a lot crispier than usual! It was impossible to chew. A thought crept into my mind… there couldn’t be sand in my food, not in this nice restaurant? I looked at the egg closely but didn’t see anything. But I was sure I felt it!  I went to Bruno, and he looked at it with his special glasses… Oh no… He looked grossed out. I borrowed his glasses to have a look, and believe it or not: It was covered in little pebbles and spider webs!!! Yuck! I hope I hadn’t eaten a spider!!! :???:

Well you’re lucky you didn’t break a tooth! Bruno was devatated, but we knew he was not to blame… Another man is in charge of making this “rocky” in Panfu. When we went to talk to Krucio after that he warned us about gravel in your teeth… and Ella totally blushed! :D Never take your special glasses off when Krucio’s around!

The hungry Max

Friday, August 27th, 2010

Hi everyone!

We told you about how I got trapped in the basement of the pirate bar. Ella didn’t know that…

True. I started to get worried about him because I hadn’t seen him in hours. Some Pandas told me they’d seen him looking for the candle which was the stony object of that day. I went to the pirate bar but I couldn’t see him there. Man, where could he be? I sat down to think for a while.

Suddenly I started hearing this sound… what was it? It sounded somehow familiar, lika a growl. I knew it! It was Max’s belly! I started following where the noise came from. He had to be in the basement! I tried to pull the hatch open, but it was stuck. Luckily another Panda came in, and helped me pull. Finally we were able to open it. “Max, are you there?” I yelled. He was. And can you guess what his first words were when he saw me?

Ella, I’m hungry!

Exactly! So we went to Chez Bruno and had a nice meal of  our favorite dishes: rice pudding with apple sauce, kebab, plums and grapes, spaghetti, cucumber, chocolate ice cream and some more spaghetti. :)

Hmmm, that was delicious! Now you made me hungry again… should we have another breakfast, Ella? ;)

Okay.
:D

…and the foot belongs to…

Wednesday, August 25th, 2010

Hi sweet Pandas!

Most of you guessed right who the paper foot belonged to! ;) Do you still remember how the story went? Max stepped into the basement to get the candle he had dropped. And when he was reaching for the candle he came across a foot instead!

Yep! Man, did I get scared! Then I heard a voice say: “Hey, what do you think you’re doing here mortal Panda?” It was too dark to see anything until someone lit a candle. And in the flickering light I saw… a mummy! Wrapped in pink toilet paper!? He was the mummy from the ice diamond quest. Next thing I know he jumped to hug me… :???: “I’m just kidding! It’s so cool someone comes to visit me! It’s so lonely down here…” Then he started telling me all these stories… You know the mummy is thousands of years old and he has lotttttts of stories to tell. At some point it got a bit tiring…

There was no way out. The hatch was locked and I couldn’t get out of there. And the mummy would NOT stop talking. Time went by and I got hungry. My stomach started to growl… louder… and louder.

In between I got a bit worried because I hadn’t seen Max in hours! I went to look for him. Wanna guess how I found him? I heard something… ;)

Sssshhh! We’ll tell you on Friday.

Guess where today’s object is?

Tuesday, August 24th, 2010

Hi guys!

Today it wasn’t so easy to find the stony object… I had to ask maaaaany Pandas where it was, and look everywhere. But finally I found it, and it was the tiniest flower in a bush, by a door,  in a corner, in a high place… well… maybe you can guess by these pictures where it is. ;)

Can you? Good luck finding it!

Have a nice day in Panfu! Tomorrow I’ll tell you the rest of my story from yesterday. Remember? What happened in the creepy basement…

Looking for the candle

Monday, August 23rd, 2010

Hi there, Pandas!

Heheee, do you want to hear what happened to Max? It’s funny.

Well it’s funny now that it’s over. But I wasn’t laughing when it happened. Here’s how it started: Like every morning I rushed off to the puzzle machine to get the magic staff. I didn’t need to look hard for the stony object because everyone was talking about the pirate bar. I went there directly. I immediately saw a candle on the window pane that was turned into stone. I got on the table to touch it with the magic staff. SHAZAM! And it was wax again. But I whacked the candle a bit too hard so I knocked it over and it rolled down into the hatch. Down to the basement, you know? So I had to go down to the dark basement to get it. Oh… I had a creepy feeling in my stomach.

I decided to be brave and climbed down. And POW! The hatch closed on top of me suddenly. It was dark as the night. I couldn’t even see my own paw even if it was right in front of my eyes. :? I tried to reach for the candle, but felt something else in my hand. It felt like a foot… only made of paper… And then I heard a voice say:

“Hey! What do you think you’re doing, mortal Panda?!!” My heart leapt.

Do you know who it was? I do!

Go ahead and make a guess. Let’s see if you know. On Wednesday we’ll tell you if you guessed it right. ;)

The bird is back… finally

Saturday, August 21st, 2010

Woooohh, that was close! :?

We told you yesterday that Ella accidentally dropped the stony bird from the castle roof. The other wing was broken, so we had to go look for some glue. Last time we broke the knight statue and we’d used up all of our glue.

We looked EVERYWHERE: in the castle, kiosk by the pool, gift shop… we almost gave up… but then we ran into a Panda that gave us just the tip we needed: in the under water school! Of course!

So we went there. It didn’t take more than 5 minutes to find the glue: it was in the drawer of the desk! We glued the wing back on and the bird was fixed. Without thinking about it more Ella touched it with the magic staff, and it flew away.

That wasn’t so clever… The underwater school is like a cage to a bird. It can’t get out of there by itself. So…. we needed to catch it again and get it out of there. That wasn’t easy but we finally made it. Now the bird is back where it belongs: on the roof of the castle. :) All’s well that ends well!

My bump is still there though. And what am I doing about it? I’ve heard it’s good to put something cold on it. ;)

Max has a bump in his forehead

Friday, August 20th, 2010

Hi everyone!

We had a little accident. Actually a pretty bad one…

We???

Well, I had a little accident and Max had to face the consequences. :( Here’s what happened:

You may have noticed that Krucio turned a tiny little bird into stone by the castle today. That MEAN man, how could he…? It’s just a little bird! When I saw it, I ran immediately to the puzzle machine and got the magic staff. I climbed onto the roof so Krucio wouldn’t see me. Max stood and kept watch down by the castle. Walking on the roof was not the easiest thing I’ve ever done because my feet were slipping… I tried to carefully hold up the magic staff and grab the roof with my other hand at the same time. And instead I slipped, and touched the bird with my foot! PUFF! The bird flew towards Max! I yelled: “Maaaaax, catch the birrrrrrrrd!” but instead he looked at it with eyes wide open, and it landed on his forehead. POW!

Now I have a huuuuuge bump on my forehead. :(

I’m soooo sorry, Max! But what’s even worse is that the bird’s wing broke when it fell. We have to find some glue fast, so we can glue it together before we turn it back to normal. Otherwise it might wake up with a broken wing… :( Does anyone know where we could find some express glue?

Be good Pandas (and hopefully you’ll have better luck than us)!
