Those Knuffi Jumpers look so cuuuuuuuute!  But that’s not all that’s new in Panfu, is it Max?

No, but I don’t really want to say what the next bit is.

Why not?

Because it has to do with that Caruso guy!

Awww, Max, don’t start on that again! (Sigh) Ok, I’LL say it then…. Carl Caruso, the brave explorer sent a game for all pandas to play. It’s called HOT BOOM!

How does the game work? (Not that I’m very interested! )

It’s another multi-player game. The game starts when there are at least 3 pandas in the gym. 
One panda is randomly given the HOT BOOM at the start of the game. Then the count down begins! 
There are 2 rules: 
1. The panda with the HOT BOOM must throw it to another pandas otherwise he loses. The pandas keep passing the HOT BOOM during the countdown.
2. The panda holding the HOT BOOM at the end of the countdown is the loser!

Cool, huh? I’m going to go play now! Coming Max?

Hey Pandas,

Today we have good news and… more good news!

Perhaps some of you have been wondering about the coloured bar at the bottom of your screen. (The one that goes from a sad smiley to a happy smiley).

Well, we’re proud to announce the new Panfu Mood Indicator! Now you can tell the mood of your panda! How cool is that?

The more fun things you do in Panfu and the more your explore, the better the mood of your panda will be. You might think it doesn’t matter what mood your panda is in but because Panfu is usually a happy place, it is very important to feel happy and be in a good mood. Some places in Panfu may not be accessible if your mood is too bad!

So how do you make your mood stay good and up in the green area of the coloured bar? Well, you simply have to have fun and do fun and interesting things in Panfu.

We won’t tell you what these activities are, you have to figure then out for yourself!

Aww, Max, come on, let’s at least give them a hint….

Yes ok… here’s a tip of things you can do in Panfu that will keep your mood up:

Play games, take a shower in the pool area, have something to eat….

But of course, you can’t just do these things to keep your mood up. You have to use your imagination and be active and do other things too in the wonderful world of Panfu.

And now for the second bit of good news…

From today, you have the opportunity to invite new friends to come play with you in Panfu. And now you can do this directly from within the game. Simply click on the  ”Invite” button which is next to the “Throw” button.

It gets even better…. Every time a new friend of yours joins Panfu, YOU’LL get a surprise gift! Try it out!

And news just in…

Basepef has disappeared! It looks like Carl Caruso’s plan has worked….

Oooooh, I LOVE him so much! He’s so clever AND handsome!

I personally think he’s a little on the arrogant side.

Oh, Max, are you jealous!?  Anyway Pandas, it’s thanks to ALL of you for your help in collecting the bananas and pickles to set the trap!

Caruso couldn’t have done it on his own, that’s for sure!

Hello helpful pandas,

As we have heard recently from the Bamboo Gazette, Carl Caruso has come up with a plan to get rid of Basepef once and for all! But he needs YOUR help!

We need all the bananas and pickles that you can find around the island. We need them all to be collected and brought to Carl Caruso who stands ready on the Castle terrace. There, he and Kamaria are brewing a special magical potion which will entice the evil sorcerer Basepef and hopefully lure him into a trap! 

So pandas, please collect as many as you can. Let’s work together to get rid of this evil power who has been terrorizing Panfu for weeks!

Hello Pandas!

Since we are investigative journalists we were snooping outside Kamaria’s chamber trying to listen in on a conversation between Carl Caruso and the oracle herself. (We didn’t dare go in ‘cos Kamaria is still mad at me for throwing water bombs at her and I’m a little tired of being electrocuted by her!)

Anyway, we couldn’t hear everything but we heard them discussing some sort of plan. We think it has something to do with Basepef and getting rid of him. We heard words like “trap” and “bananas”! We don’t know what bananas have to do with traps but it sure sounded interesting!

We were nearly caught snooping becase Ella suddenly had to sneeze (and she always sneezes so loud like an elephant!)

Oi! Max, no I don’t!  Anyway, I covered my nose and sneezed rather quietly and daintily, thank you very much. In fact, if Kamaria and Carl Caruso heard anything, they probably thought it was a little kitten passing by!

So, pandas, don’t tell Kamaria that we were spying! The plan sounds like it’s meant to be top secret! We’ll try to find out more information and report back to you. 

Keep your ears stiff and your eyes peeled!

Hi guys,

It’s just me Max today. I told Ella that she could go home early as she had a few errands to do. I also wanted to use this opportunity to talk to you guys. Besides, Ella rarely reads old blogs so I’m pretty sure she doesn’t know that I’ve been talking to you guys on my own…

So… yesterday after homework, I asked Ella if she wanted to go for a walk and fortunately she said “Yes”! I had on a cool new shirt and I had put some gel in my hair so I was looking pretty good. We got to the ice cream palour. I said to Ella, “Hey, I’ll buy us both ice-creams” (I wanted it to sound casual). She thought that was “So sweet!”. That’s a good thing, right?

Then I took a deep breath and said, “Hey, Ella wanna go to the movies later? My shout!”

And she said, “What’s got into YOU, Max? Movies? Don’t you usually like to play computer games or football with your buddies?”

I was just about to open my mouth and say something cool when guess who came into the ice-cream palour?

CARL CARUSO!!!

Well, I might as well have not have existed because Ella made a bee-line for him and had eyes only for the “gorgeous Carl!” Well, thankfully he didn’t stay long but the damage was done. For the rest of the afternoon, all Ella would talk about was Carl-this and Carl-that: “Oooh Carl is going to beat Basepef” and “Carl is very handsome and so smart” Blah Blah Blah!

So anyway, that was my first attempt to try to do something nice for Ella…. It didn’t work out as well as I hoped.

Oh well, I hope Momo had more luck winning back Eva Toms than I did with Ella.

Have you read the “Bamboo Gazette” newspaper? There is information about a new visitor in Panfu! He’s an adventurer called Carl Caruso! He arrived by plane from Africa, you can see his plane in the jungle.

Caruso is quite a character! He’s travelled all over the world and had many adventures.

Yes, I heard that he once saved himself from quicksand by using his own hair! Amazing!

Oh I don’t believe that! How is that even possible? If it’s true then Carl Caruso is just what we need to save Panfu from Basepef!

Oooh, are you jealous, Max? Just because he’s brave, smart and handsome! Don’t worry Max, you’re still my best friend!

Anyway, go check hi out pandas and find out for yourself what you thing of this new visitor. Carl is in Kamaria’s tower.

Have you downloaded the lyrics to Eva Tom’s song “Forever More” yet? You can get it from the computers in the underwater school or in the town.

If you’re a gold panda, you can also download the song and listen to it anytime you want. Just click on Eva who is standing in San Franpanfu. It’s a fantastic song!

The song is very emotional and it’s sure to make Momo feel sad. You can see the meaning of it in the lyrics. It seems as if Eva is trying to tell Momo that she also needs to explore her own talents and he needs to accept that. If he doesn’t, she will have to leave. That is in fact what happened…

As we reported a few days ago, Momo is in the process of writing his “reply song” to Eva. We only hope he finishes it soon because Eva is getting sadder and sadder everyday because she thinks that Momo doesn’t want anything to do with her. But we’ve told Eva that Momo still loves her and to not make any rash decisions…. Ooooh, we hope they get back together because they belong together!

On another note, have you guys read the “Bamboo Gazette”? There’s some traveller guy called Carl Caruso, a friend of Kamaria’s who will be coming to Panfu to help us with the Basepef situation! This is great news. Until he arrives, keep throwing those water/slime bombs at the hideous Basepef statue in the middle of San Franpanfu.
