Hello Pandas!

Tell me, what did you do on Gold Panda Day? Did you drive a car or transform into a robot? I saw quite a lot of Panda robots. It was ace! The colossal robot was totally confused

Professor Bookworm was also a little confused when we brought him your messages. So much so that he had forgotten the talk we’d had on Thursday But he was very happy to read your comments all the same We printed them all off and brought them to him at his lab.

He was so happy! Over cake and hot chocolate he revisited his inventions and projects so far: Like the Fountain of Youth Elixir or his calculation of the Panfu solar eclipse, the Level Booster and the Shrinking Machine and of course the Sintepan, the music machine in the lab. He really is a genius

The Extranator is his most unusual invention to date. Do you remember? He extracted the game “Magic Maze” from the Puzzle Machine with it. Cool stuff!

And he also invented Telepandathy – that’s how you other Pandas can see what the others are doing, like whether they’re looking at another Panda’s profile or are just typing something into the chat box:

Hello Pandas,

How was your weekend? Have you been busy? Well, now it’s back to school. And just so you’re all set for a potential job, you can now buy some smooth office outfits. All crisp and tidy, of course!

Hm, if I should become a professional reporter later, a nice black suit like that would look very nice on me

Do you know what kind of job you want to have later in life? Would you like to work for a big company or do you want to maybe be a teacher, fireman or police officer?

Or even a scatterbrained professor – like our Professor Bookworm? We visited him at his lab yesterday to find out whether he knows something about the Raspberry Dragons.

But he was wayyyy too distracted and didn’t even really listen to us. Instead, he kept talking about a great new invention that he wants to show us tomorrow.

I wonder what our dear Professor has built this time

Hello Pandas,

Have you also noticed that it has been getting a little warmer in Panfu since yesterday?  I’m almost too warm in my coat.  The sun was shining!  We don’t think there will be any more snow.  We’re pretty sure that the snow will keep melting throughout the week, it won’t be long now.  Maybe it’ll happen tomorrow or perhaps in a few days.  Just sit tight and drink some tea.

There’s going to be a lot happening on Panfu this week.  It’s hard to keep up with it all.  So we have put together another plan outlining all of the events.  It’s going to be great!

THURSDAY:  *Now you can have even more fun playing football.  Create your own teams and play with your friends.

Dear pandas,

Today we have some bad news for you. Our beloved pony who lives in the stables is not feeling well. He has been hanging his head low and not eating for the past two days. We don’t know exactly what the problem is so we called upon Prof. Bookworm to help. He isn’t a veterinarian but he knows how to handle animals very well, especially horses. His college mates used to call him Dr. Doolittle or Horse Whisperer!

But we have another problem, Prof. Bookworm is not currently here in Panfu. He has been in Honduras for the last few weeks on a research project. Honduras is pretty far away! But he will be back on Saturday which is the next flight he can get from the Honduran jungle.  But in the meantime, he has sent a telegram to all you pandas which he has asked us to print here in the blog:

My dear Panda bears,

I hope you are all in good spirits and have not been as sick as I hear the poor pony is. What I have heard from Max and Ella, the symptoms of the pony do not look promising at all! But I’m sure we will manage if we all work together like we have done in the past. I will be back in Panfu on Saturday and need all of you to help me cure the pony. As a reward, you will be able to stroke the pony. And for those pandas without the gold package (wood pandas), you will be allowed into the pony yard on Saturday!

I look forward to seeing you on Saturday. We simply need everyone to come there to help our lovely pony get better soon!

So there you have it! “The Bookworm” (that’s what Ella and I call the professor) has, incidentally, cut his research trip in Honduras short so he can come and help the pony. So please make sure you all help him out.
