Bodyguard Max

Wednesday, April 3rd, 2013

Hello Pandas,

I thought long and hard about Bonez’ message yesterday and read your comments. Should we accept his offer of peace or not? In the end I decided to meet Bonez in the Castle Courtyard today. After all, everybody makes mistakes every once in a while and we should give a Panda the chance to change their ways.

And I am Ella’s bodyguard  I won’t leave Ella alone with this loony.

Don’t you think that’s a little too much? Although, it’s actually quite cool, having a bodyguard. You feel a little like a Hollywood star. Now you just need to work on packing some muscle :D

Pffftt….ungrateful. That’s Hollywood stars for you!

Hey, but you have other things working in your favour. You’re good at picking up on strange things. So let’s go, bodyguard!

Take care of yourselves, Pandas! Bonez is very sly.

Your Max and your Ella

P.S. We were so confused and shaken up about Bonez’ message yesterday that we totally forgot to tell you who the Expert of the Week is. The lucky winner is skaterbex. Enjoy your colourful Bolly!

Tool Shed Crime Scene

Wednesday, March 13th, 2013

Hiya Pandas,

I could barely sleep last night. How about you?

I kept thinking about the noises that I had heard coming from Manny’s tool shed. Something is up there! I just kept thinking about it all night. So I got up extra early this morning and went to Manny’s Tree House. After knocking about 15 times, I heard some shuffling and a very sleepy Manny opened the door.

I knew that Manny, after his beauty sleep, usually starts his day with some aerobics and then has a strong coffee. But that would’ve taken too long today. So I made use of a drastic method that was used on me a few days ago: I held the fake spider in front of his face.

“Eeeeeeeeewww” Manny screamed. I know that was a little mean, but at least Manny was wide awake after  I didn’t want to lose any time. I just kept having the niggling feeling that something was up with the tool shed. So I made Manny go to the Sportsfield with me in his jammies. And I was right:

 A crime was committed in the tool shed!!

I don’t want to say too much. It’s criminal, but it’s also actually a nice surprise. Sounds weird, doesn’t it? Off you go then! Maybe you’ll meet Max. He’s still playing the Mini Game in an attempt to open the lock. :D

Paws up for Panfu,

Dangerous Mission: the Mirror Ghost

Wednesday, June 13th, 2012

Hello Pandas,

Kamaria has made a decision. She wants us to face the dangerous person. This person is our only hope in our fight against the tree monster.

Aaaaaaaand, who found out about this person?

You, of course! Good job
You’ll remember that we went to the Library and got some spell books the other day. Afterwards we went to see Kamaria in the Castle Tower and read to her. We looked through all the books for a suitable spell or potion to fight the tree monster, but couldn’t find anything. :( Kamaria felt really desperate, until…

…I discovered a mysterious header on one page: “The Omniscient One”. That should do the trick! If anybody knew how to defeat the tree monster, then it’d be him. Right? I immediately showed Kamaria the page.

She went very pale and gasped for air. When she had calmed down a bit, she whispered. “Pssst, don’t speak too loudly! The Omniscient One can hear us. He’s among us, here, in this room!”

“What? Where? He is here?” I asked and looked around the room.

Very inconspicuous, Max! :D
Then Kamaria explained that The Omniscient One is a blue ghost and lives in a mirror. This mirror ghost knows everything, but he’s also moody and unpredictable. If he’s in a bad mood and someone dares talk to him at that moment, he transforms them into a ghost or pulls them into his mirror.

That is why Kamaria only talks to the mirror ghost very rarely and only in emergencies! But we probably have no other choice in this matter…

If you want to save Panfu, you have to talk to the mirror ghost! Be careful and don’t annoy him! This is our last chance to save Panfu.

Good luck!

Don’t Panic, Max has a Rescue Plan

Sunday, February 5th, 2012

Good morning Pandas,

we’ve enjoyed reading your comments in the past couple of days and we’ve been collecting some ideas concerning the big question: Why is Evron building a snowman?

Hehe, Max created a matching “rescue plan” for every idea. Well, I have to give him that, there is a lot of creative imagination under his inspector’s hat. ;)

Idea 1: Evron wants to ruin Valentine’s Day for us with his snowman.

Max’s rescue plan: We make a huge poster that says ” ♥ Evron, we love you ♥ “. Him and his snowman will run away all scared. :D

Idea 2: Evron wants to have a little fun in the snow but he simply didn’t know how to build a snowman. His facial expression is actually meant to say: Why are you starring at me? Have you never seen an evil guy build a snowman?

→ Max’s rescue plan: Sneak over to Bitterland and destroy it, hehe.

Idea 3: This snowman is just a tactic for diverting attention and he is actually building an army of snowmen that is supposed to destroy Panfu.

→ Max’s rescue plan: Flee to the harbour, jump in the boats, paddle, swim, run for your lifes! Tehehe, just joking. :D

Very funny  In that case we have to unite our forces and quickly inform Kamaria or Professor Bookworm. They would know what to do…. hopefully!

Maybe today we can find out more about Evron’s plan. Kamaria revealed to us that you can get the news on the castle’s terrace where the telescope is. Let us know if you find something out!

Yes please!
by the way: Expert of he week is… Showy. Congratulations! The right answer is: The boat goes to Pirate Island.

Win a Reindeer Cap for yourself and your Panda-friend!

Wednesday, December 14th, 2011

Dear Pandas,

would you like to surprise one of your Panda-friends for Christmas? In this week’s Expert Question, 5 Pandas can win a Reindeer Cap for themselves AND for their best Panda-friend. So all in all, 10 Pandas can win a cap. :)

And this is how you participate:

1. Answer the Expert Question of the Week:

Which famous Panda has a beard just like Santa?
a) Lenny
b) Professor Bookworm
c) Horst Hering

2. Drop your answer in the comments below until Sunday!
Very important: Write down your Panda name as well as your best buddy’s Panda name. Also, we would like to know why you think your Panda friend deserves a surprise for Christmas. Explain the reason in one sentence! For example: Ella deserves a Christmas surprise because she is simply the cutest Panda girl I know… uhm, of course that was just an example now.

How sweet of you! :)

You can enter the competition until Sunday night! The 5 winners will be drawn randomly from all Pandas. Then the Panda and the the Panda’s best friend will receive the Reindeer Cap. But we’ll only reveal the winners next week on Wednesday. Because then it is almost Christmas already and the surprise is even greater. :)

Good luck and… Paws up for Panfu

“Bitterland” by Abir3

Sunday, December 4th, 2011

Hello dear Pandas,

I am 10 years old, have been playing Panfu for 60 days and my favourite quest is SAVE THE POPOKETS.

As you know, Bitterland is a dangerous place. Those poor Pandas have to work like mad there. Day and night! Well, most of you who played the quest saw it. It’s not fair! Evron and his watchmen have no idea how hard it is!
Here is a picture of the mean Evron and those hard working Pandas:

Most of you will know this picture from the quest SPIES IN BITTERLAND. There is one Panda that was able to flee. Fortunately!

Dear Pandas, please drop a comment what you would do about this! I would storm Bitterland and free the Pandas… or something like that. So get behind your PC and write down your ideas!

THANK YOU! Think of those poor Pandas!!
Bye, abir3

Pingoo’s Dream of Flying

Saturday, June 11th, 2011

Hiya Pandas,

Your comments show me that you, accomplices of Max, have what it takes to become super agents. ;) Penguins cannot fly, although they are birds and have wings :!: You know, a long time ago, penguins could actually fly. But over thousands of years, they lost the ability to do that.

How? It must be like riding a bike. You learn it once and never forget how to do it!

It’s a bit different with penguins. They had to adapt to their natural habitat, the Antarctic. Sometimes, it’s minus 50 degrees Celsius there. You wouldn’t just go and ride your bike there, would you?

Probably not, I’d just slip and fall all over the place!

Or you’d need to add runners to your wheels. :D Penguins have built up quite a resistance to adapt to the cold. They also need to dive a lot to catch fish under the ice. That’s why their wings have deteriorated. They are short, but strong.

Not exactly the best conditions to go flying!

Exactly! Despite all that, Pingoo and his siblings have the mission to become the first flying penguins of the modern age. That’s why he’s always wearing his special hat, too. He’s always ready to go flying. They were going to take flying lessons with a well-known seagull in the Caribbean.

They have had the dream of flying for a long time, Pingoo told me. “A few years ago, I played catch with my siblings on the ice. That was fun! Suddenly, we heard a loud noise from above…RATTLE RATTLE, like that. What was that? Surprised, we checked the sky, but there was nothing but a few clouds. Then, a cloud transformed! From it, something that we’d never seen before came flying.” What that was? I will tell you tomorrow. Now it’s time for Pingoo’s morning ice cube shower.

Paws up for Panfu,

Ella and Max
